— No servers. No cloud. No exceptions.
Glyde is developed and published by Battle Born Trading LLC, doing business as Glyde. We are a small independent team and the sole party responsible for this application.

The short answer: none. Glyde does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on any server we operate or any third-party server.
Everything you enter into Glyde is stored exclusively on your iPhone using iOS local storage. In Glyde v4.1 this includes:
This data never leaves your device except in two user-initiated scenarios:
Your data is used solely to power the features you see in the app:
None of this data is used for advertising, analytics, profiling, research, or any purpose beyond what you see on screen.
Glyde optionally integrates with Apple HealthKit. When enabled, Glyde can read and write the following data types:
This integration is fully optional. You will be prompted to grant or deny permission the first time you use it. You can revoke permission at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Glyde.
Glyde does not request, read, or use any other HealthKit data types. All interactions happen locally on your device.
Backup is entirely opt-in and selective. You choose exactly what to include:
You can initiate a backup or restore at any time from Settings → iCloud Backup inside Glyde. Glyde does not run automatic background backups without your explicit action.
Glyde uses iOS local notifications to remind you when your next injection is due and to prompt your hourly water intake. These are scheduled entirely on your device — they do not pass through any server and do not transmit any health data anywhere.
In Glyde v4, you can configure both injection reminder intervals and water reminder intervals (including custom hourly windows) directly in Settings. None of these preferences leave your device.
You can turn off notifications at any time in Settings → Notifications → Glyde.
Glyde’s optional PIN and biometric lock protects the app on your device. Your PIN is stored locally in iOS UserDefaults. Biometric authentication (Face ID / Touch ID) is handled entirely by iOS’s LocalAuthentication framework — Glyde never has access to your biometric data at any point.
Neither your PIN nor any biometric information is transmitted anywhere, stored in iCloud, or included in any backup.
The only Apple system frameworks Glyde uses are:
The USDA FoodData Central database used for nutrition search is accessed at the time you search for food items. Only your search query text is sent to the USDA public API — no personal data, no health data, no device identifiers.
Because Glyde stores all data locally on your device, you are always in complete control:
Since we hold no data on any server, there is no account to delete and no data deletion request to submit to us.
Glyde is not directed toward children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children. Given that Glyde collects no personal information from anyone, this protection is inherent to how the app is built.

Glyde is a personal logging tool only. It does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment of any kind. The medication level estimator uses published pharmacokinetic half-life data to produce an approximation — it is not a clinical tool and must not be used to make medical decisions.
The nutrition tracking feature uses the USDA FoodData Central database for food data. Nutritional values are estimates and may vary. Always consult a registered dietitian for personalized nutrition guidance.
Always consult your licensed physician regarding your GLP-1 medication, dosage schedule, injection technique, and any side effects you experience.
We may update this privacy policy as Glyde gains new features. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of Glyde after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.
